Developing a sense of belonging and community are important components of the Connecting Through Music Program. We try to keep our groups as stable as possible so participants develop relationships with staff and other participants. This is reflected in our simple fee structure.

We offer a discount for term payments to assist with group dynamics and planning ahead. Most groups will have a qualified aide as well as a facilitator to support participants to fully engage in the session. Additionally, most groups are limited to 6 participants so there’s more engagement and less waiting. Our fees include all equipment and facilitation. Participants are welcome to bring their own instruments.

Each session is based on the 5 principles of the Connecting Through Music Program which are Create, Communicate, Move, Grow and Sing.  Participants are encouraged to play instruments, sing songs with and without microphones, move and dance, develop emotional and understanding of others and themselves and to create musical moments for themselves.  We find many of our clients love to perform and we work with them to develop performance techniques. We give participants the opportunity to perform in front of their families, carers and the wider community. We believe that when people are engaged in things that are fun they are more likely to try new things, take risks and integrate these experiences into other environments.

Session fees are $70 for a casual payment per session or $60 per session for a term payment.  Invoices are sent at the beginning of each term.  The discounted term fee is required to be paid within 2 weeks.  Payments can be made by bank transfer, cash or PayPal. In the case of illness please advise if you won’t be attending. We do not offer refunds but in the case of extended illness or absence please have a chat with us and we can work out an alternative.
